Cookie Policy

The essential cookies and local browser storage that keep CricketRight secure and working.

Last updated 6 October 2026

CricketRight currently uses essential authentication cookies and limited browser storage. It does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, so there is no optional advertising-cookie banner to accept.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text records stored by your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, can remember information in the browser without sending it with every request.

Essential authentication cookies

CricketRight uses Supabase authentication cookies with names beginning with sb- and ending in -auth-token. A long token may be split into numbered cookie chunks.

  • Purpose: sign you in, refresh your secure session and let the server identify the authorised account.
  • Provider: Supabase, acting as CricketRight's managed authentication provider.
  • Duration: up to 400 days, refreshed or removed as authentication state changes; signing out clears the active authentication cookies.
  • Classification: strictly necessary. CricketRight cannot provide signed-in club portals without them.

Session storage

CricketRight may use session storage for:

  • remembering the last relevant portal page during the current browser session; and
  • holding incomplete parent/player registration answers while you move between registration steps.

Session storage normally disappears when the browser tab or session closes. It is used for continuity, not advertising.

Local storage

CricketRight may store small preference records, such as whether a help prompt has been dismissed. These remain until the product clears them or you clear site data in your browser. They do not contain authentication passwords and are not used to track you across websites.

Email and hosting technology

Transactional emails may contain ordinary delivery links needed to confirm an account, reset a password or open the product. Hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type and timestamps to deliver and protect the service.

Managing cookies and storage

You can delete CricketRight cookies and site data through your browser settings. Removing authentication cookies signs you out. Removing registration session storage may erase an incomplete registration journey, so you may need to start that journey again.

If our use changes

If CricketRight introduces non-essential analytics or marketing cookies, this page will be updated and the product will request consent before setting them where the law requires it.

Personal data associated with cookies and service logs is covered by the Privacy Policy.
